What's more, our chalets and safari tents are comfortable and set in the heart of nature: they're the opposite of PRLs, which are often made up of mobile homes. Our story begins with a meeting of Maaike, Jean-Guillaume, Jaya and Charlie Niemeijer, the founders of Castelwood. A meeting of the heart where the estate exudes an incredible journey.
We, (your hosts) Stéphanie and Jean-François, in search of a second life, were picked up during our first visit! Today we walk in the footsteps of the Niemeijer family, grateful to have imagined such a beautiful place.

Nature reigns in our gîte estate in the Dordogne. It is rich, flourishing, deep and envelops you in immeasurable calm for your stay. This is why we must preserve it by offering you ecological vacation rentals. Thus, in each accommodation you will find the right actions to preserve the environment, the taps and showers are water efficient and we invite you to sort waste during your stay.
